local repair servicemen who will have access to those parts quickly - no matter where you are.
Forced air, automatic defrost freezers are
set up for twice daily
defrost. During the defrost periods, air temperature could
warm up considerably, depending on product load.
However, a sensing bulb from a thermometer or chart recorder,
if set up inside and placed in
the water/glycerol bottle, would monitor simulated product
temperature and show less variances
during defrost. Forced air units provide quicker
pull down and recovery times because they move interior
air around via evaporator fans. It is always a
good idea to keep the unit full, even if with a different "filler" with
similar properties.
