BOD Refrigerated Incubators

Intended for use in hospitals, laboratories, and any scientific setting. These two incubators meet the requirements of Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) applications. UL and C-UL listed with a heavy duty refrigeration system will store up to (334) 300 ml BOD bottles in a range of -10°C to 50°C in the large upright design, and will store up to (71) 300 ml BOD bottles in a range of  +5°C to +50°C in the small undercounter model.
Standard Large Upright RIBOD1S20 - Refrigerated Incubator / BOD Chamber Features:
  • Operating temperature: -10°C to 50°C 
  • Programmable logic microprocessor controller with LCD control panel with message center, LCD display, Programmable ramp soak feature, Hi/Lo alarms, Power failure alarm, Remote alarm contacts, Selectable on demand auto defrost, 2 levels of user password protection (set points and parameters)
  • 100 event alarm logging including Date/Time Stamp and product temperatures. Stored in non volatile flash memory 
  • White interior, exterior, Key lock door, with 4 wire shelves (1st and 3rd shelves are adjustable)
  • 2 adjustable leveling legs
  • Interior LED light
  • 1” diameter access port with plug
  • 6 full width door mounted storage compartments
  • Complete cabinet is foamed-in-place with CFC free high density polyurethane foam insulation

Performance: Temperature Variation: 
±0.6°C @ -10 to 50C

The published temperature variation is derived from the maximum deviation of a thermocouple located nearest the chamber geometric center during the entire test period and divide by 2. (i.e. 24.0°C min and 25.0°C max would be a variation of +/- 0.5°C) Testing is based on 23.0°C, 50% RH ambient conditions and performed with type T-24 Ga. thermocouple with 1.0 oz. brass slug attached.

*Note: Figures exclude defrost periods when operating at or below 2°C. Data may vary if; ambient conditions change, product load is added or other changes cause interference to chamber airflow.

  • Streamlined refrigeration design optimizes air flow and temperature uniformity
